My first course begins in less than two weeks, and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m taking three courses this semester: Phonology & Morphology, Pragmatics and History of Linguistics.

At SpecGram any aspriring linguist can get a glimpse of the future when choosing your career in linguistics. I tried a while back and unfortunately ended up as a fastfood cashier, but today I evidently made the right choices:

Today I’ve been added to the PhD student mailing list at my department. Another important step for me! I’ve debated with myself, and have come to the conclusion that if I was accepted into the PhD program by mistake, they should have discovered it by now. I guess it’s for real.
