Well, this is the beginning of my life as PhD student in linguistics. At the same time I have reached the goal that I had set for myself years ago, before I even started studying at the university. The goal was, obviously, to get into to the PhD program - and here I am!
According to a chart presented at the introduction, I am now experiencing “the euphoria of the recently accepted doctoral student”. Sounds about right. But I’m also experiencing the tediousness of finishing the last month at my job before I can devote my time to studying 100%.
